PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS
All trainees (students and post-doctoral fellows) are encouraged to present their research at the meeting.

Awards ($300, $200, and $100) will be given to the top 3 oral and poster presentations!

Late-breaking abstracts will continue to be accepted until September 28, 2018.  There is no guarantee they will be reviewed and considered for the oral sessions, but they will be included in the abstract book and presented as posters.

Please submit abstracts via email to: Physiology@siu.edu

Please follow the style of this sample form (link to DOC).  The program book is assembled by the trainee program committee, failure to follow formatting creates extra work for your peers.  😊

There is no strict word limit (~400 recommended) as long as the authors, affiliation, abstract, and funding sources all fit onto a single page.  Please use Times New Roman, 12 pt font for all text, include 1” margins, and please underline the presenting author.

Talks
Talks will be 15 minutes in length (12 for the presentation, 3 min for Q&A). Times will be strictly enforced.

Posters
Poster dimensions are limited to 4’ x 6’ and will be presented Sunday evening (program).  Mounting clips will be provided in the session hall.

LODGING
There are several hotels and Airbnb in the area, but here are our top recommendations.
